Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1\. Patients scheduled for unilateral open inguinal hernia repair under spinal anaesthesia
- •2\. American Society of Anaesthesiologists (ASA) physical status classes I and II
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\. BMI \> 35 kg/m2
- •2\. Contraindications to or known allergy to local anaesthetics
- •3\. Coagulopathies
- •4\. Raised intracranial pressure
- •5\. Local infection at site of injection
- •6\. History of heart block, dysrhythmias, neurological diseases
