Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1. Patients scheduled for unilateral open inguinal hernia repair under spinal anaesthesia
- •2. American Society of Anaesthesiologists (ASA) physical status classes I and II
Exclusion Criteria
- •1. BMI > 35 kg/m2
- •2. Contraindications to or known allergy to local anaesthetics
- •3. Coagulopathies
- •4. Raised intracranial pressure
- •5. Local infection at site of injection
- •6. History of heart block, dysrhythmias, neurological diseases
