Inclusion Criteria

  • Age 18 †65 years
  • Trigger digit
  • No history of intraarticular steroid injection

Exclusion Criteria

  • Inflammatory or autoimmune arthritis
  • Rheumatoid arthritis
  • Prior tendon injury of the involved digit
  • A current or suspected pregnancy, and breast-feeding
  • Infection site of injection
  • Systematic steroid use
  • Giant cell tumor of tendon sheath
  • Steroid allergy
  • No anticoagulant therapy
  • No bleeding disorder
  • Xylocaine allergy
  • Multiple digits of trigger finger (≥2)
