Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •Clinical presentation of chronic dizziness for at least the preceding 3 months due to central balance disorders (e.g. cerebellar, central vestibular) or peripheral sensory balance disorders (unilateral/bilateral vestibular hypofunction, polyneuropathy); age \= 18 years; written informed consent.
Exclusion Criteria
- •Episodic vertigo syndromes (e.g. vestibular migraine, Meniere’s disease, BPPV); change in symptomatic medication (at day of inclusion or during the course of the study); other vertigo\-specific outpatient physical therapy intervention; history of orthopedic or neurologic disease with persistent motor impairment; inability to follow verbal and written instructions.
