Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •Primigravida and Multigravida
- •\- Gestational age of 37 completed weeks to 41 weeks
- •\- Live singleton pregnancy
- •\- Cephalic presentation
- •\- In active phase of labour
- •\- Membranes intact or ruptured ( PROM \<12 hours)
Exclusion Criteria
- •\- Patients having contraindications for usage of HNBB such as Myasthenia Gravis, Narrow angle glaucoma
- •\- Multiple pregnancies
- •\- conditions where there are Previous Uterine scars
- •\- Malpresentation
- •\- Cephalo pelvic dispropotion
- •\- Antepartum hemorrhage
- •\- Medical disorders complicating pregnancies such as severe anemia, cardiac diseases, hypertensive disorders
