Inclusion Criteria
1.Patients posted for elective surgery under general anaesthesia requiring endotracheal intubation.
2.ASA 1 and ASA 2 patients
Exclusion Criteria
1. Any anticipated difficult airway including altered anatomy like cervical fractures, maxillofacial abnormalities, restricted neck movement , neck swelling or mass , laryngeal or tracheal pathology.
2. Patients at risk of aspiration.

Name Time Method The transverse subglottic subglottic diameter & transverse midglottic diameter diameter as measured by ultrasonography with the outer diameter(mm) of ETT used for each patient.Timepoint: After induction & before intubation.
