Patients of either sex aged 18 to 70 years, belonging to ASA physical status I & II, scheduled to undergo elective surgery under general anaesthesia requiring tracheal intubation, who are able to understand the study protocol will be included in the study.
The patients who
have upper airway anatomical deformity, trauma or tumor,
have cervical spine instability,
require rapid sequence induction,
have previous h/o difficult airway,
require fibreoptic history of difficulty intubation,
have restricted mouth opening,
are edentulous,
have BMI >35kgm,
have h/o obstructive sleep apnoea,
are not willing to give consent
will be excluded from the study.
