Patients between 18 years and 60 years of age.
Patients presenting with pain associated with irreversible pulpitis in mandibular molars with no clinical or radiographic signs or symptoms of acute or chronic apical periodontitis.
No history of taking analgesics in the previous 12 hours prior to presenting for treatment.
Patients presenting with American Society of Anesthesiologists I or II medical history.
Patients providing informed consent.
Patients who can read and understand the pain scoring criteria.
Presence of any systemic disorder or sensitivity or allergy that prevents the use of serratiopeptidase and trypsin-chymotrypsin.
Patients having hepatic and renal disorders.
Patients having gluten allergy.
Presence of periapical radiolucency and swelling or any other condition that prevents single-visit root canal treatment.
Patients having teeth not suitable for restoration, or having serious periodontal disease that render the teeth unsuitable for endodontic treatment.
Pregnant or lactating patients.
Teeth will be excluded if there is any overestimation of the working length, inadvertent overinstrumentation through the apical foramen, or extension of the root filling material beyond the working length.
