Patients undergoing laparoscopic cholecystectomy who are between 20 and 70 years of age and ASA(American Society of Anesthesiologists) physical status classification 1 or 2.
Patients with a history of hypersensitivity or adverse reactions to midazolam, propofol, or rocuronium; patients taking narcotic analgesics; patients with psychiatric conditions such as depressive disorders or schizophrenia; patients with a BMI > 30; creatinine > 2.0 mg/dl; platelet count < 50,000/µl; activated partial thromboplastin time (aPTT) > 40 seconds; prothrombin time (PT INR) > 1.5.
