Inclusion Criteria
Patients having the following 2 or more risk factors:-
Old age (more than 50yrs)
Prolonged diabetes mellitus ( more than 5yrs)
Obesity (BMI more than 30kg/m2 )
Decreased space between 2 spinous processes
Decreased cervical movements
Exclusion Criteria
Patients with cardiac insufficiency
Patients with liver insufficiency
Patients with kidney insufficiency
Patients in sepsis
Patients with local anesthetic systemic toxicity
Patients given epidural analgesia along with spinal anesthesia
