Inclusion Criteria

Orthopaedic patients of either gender, aged 18-60 years posted for elective surgeries under spinal anaesthesia in supine position -Consented for participating in the study ASA physical status I or II.

Exclusion Criteria

Unwilling to participate in the study Pre-existing cardiovascular, renal, respiratory illnesses Emergency surgeries Patients who have received preloading of IV fluids Patients with difficulty in communication Anticipated severe intraoperative blood loss needing blood transfusion.
