Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •Age ââ?°Â¥18 years
- •2\. Invasive carcinoma of the breast
- •3\. ECOG performance status 0\-2
- •4\. Locally advanced breast cancer which is not amenable to curative surgery as decided by
- •multidisciplinary tumour board.
- •5\. Metastatic breast cancer patients:
- •6\. Who are awaiting palliative locoregional radiotherapy for symptom (pain
- •bleeding, ulceration, impending fungation) control.
- •7\. Who have completed a scheduled course of palliative chemotherapy and is felt to
- •benefit from local radiation therapy
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\. Breast reconstruction using implants
- •2\. Concurrent cyto\-toxic chemotherapy
- •3\. Prior radiation to the chest wall / breast
