入选标准
- •Children of 2-16 years age of either sex.Mild and moderate case of Anaemia according to WHO criteria.Peripheral blood smear- hypochromic, microcyctic cells.Serum Iron <59 microgram/dL and TIBC >450 microgram/dL.Children having classical symptoms of Pandu Roga/Iron Deficiency Anaemia.
排除标准
- •Children of below 2 years and above 16 years age of either sex.
- •Children diagnosed with Haemoglobinopathies especially Thalassemia, Sickle cell anaemia.
- •Children with conditions causing chronic blood loss like worm infestation, piles, anal polyps, haemophilia.
- •Children with congenital disorders and chronic debilitating diseases.
- •Children diagnosed with any other type of Anaemia other than IDA.
- •Anaemia associated with any other systemic illness i.e Malaria, Acute & chronic diarrhoea.
