- •Patients more than 18 years of age, undergoing elective surgery under general anaesthesia with endotracheal tube, in JIPMER\-Puducherry.
排除标准
- •1\.Patients requiring rapid\-sequence induction.
- •2\.Patients with naso\-gastric tube in\-situ.
- •3\. Patients with neck swelling, deformities of neck preventing upper oesophageal ultrasound.
- •4\. Patients with oesophageal/gastric pathology/GERD.
- •5\.Patients with air in gastric antrum prior to FMV
