- •pts undergoing surgery under general anaesthesia with any of the following:
- •H/O difficult intubation
- •thyromental distance less than or equal to 3 cm
- •sternomental distance less than or equal to 12 cm
- •range of motion of head and neck restricted
- •Mallampati grade III, IV
排除标准
- •mouth opening < 3 cm
- •patients at risk of aspiration
- •History of preoperative sore throat, respiratory tract pathology, COPD
- •Cervical spine injury, raised ICT
