patients presenting for screening or diagnostic colonoscopy
Exclusion Criteria
known colonic polyps in situ,
known inflammatory bowel disease,
overt bleeding,
polyposis syndrome,
previous surgical resection of the colon,
patients receiving anticoagulant medication,
patients without informed written consent before
