Inclusion Criteria
Volunteers seen at the otolaryngology clinic at the study site; both sexes; age over 8 years old; presence of symptoms such as otalgia, otorrhea, hearing loss and tinnitus.
Exclusion Criteria
Volunteers with a previous history of tympanic membrane perforation in the medical record; presence of obstruction in the external ear canal.

Name Time Method It is expected to find better diagnostic accuracy through the video otoscope, with an expected sensitivity of 80% in cases of tympanic membrane perforation, compared to the conventional otoscope.
