Inclusion Criteria

heightened levels of alexithymia (scores = 51 on the Toronto Alexithymia Scale 20; TAS-20
- access to a smartphone using Android (version 4.0 or above)
- sufficient German language skills

Exclusion Criteria

Younger than 18 years old, no access to a smartphone using Android 4.0 or above, Totonto Alexithymia Scale score < 51

Primary Outcome Measures

After 14 days: emotion recognition skills as assessed by number of correct pairings in a computer-based two-choice task paradigm. (categorizing pictures portraying two different facially expressed emotions with the correct label)
