This would be an observational study for comparative evaluation of thyromental height test with the conventional airway parameters for predicting difficult intubation on the basis of CL grading and intubation difficulty scale to assess the reliability of TMH Test as an upcoming and more efficient parameter for predicting difficult intubation in ASA I-III patients

入选标准

  • Adult patients (18-70 years) scheduled for elective surgery under general anaesthesia requiring orotracheal intubation with ASA physical status I-III with BMI between 18.5-34.9 kg/m2 Willing to provide written informed consent.

排除标准

  • Patient refusal ASA IV Known or anticipated difficult airway Cervical spine instability or restricted neck movement Reduced mouth opening.

To compare the predictive accuracy of Thyromental Height in predicting difficult airway using intubation difficulty scale (IDS)

时间窗: Baseline and 1 day (day of intubation)

To compare predictive accuracy of thyromental height with Thyromental distance, sternomental distance, sternomental displacement, using intubation difficulty scale (IDS)
