入选标准
- •Age 2-8 years
- •Either gender
- •ASA I and II
- •Children scheduled for undergoing cataract surgeries under general anaesthesia with CLMA
排除标准
- •Airway anomalies.
- •Anticipated difficult airway
- •Bronchial asthma
- •Known cardiac arrhythmia or congenital heart disease.
- •Mentally disabled, known case of autism, or developmental pervasive disorder.
- •Psychotropic medication use
- •Active upper respiratory tract infection
- •Patients receiving concurrent treatment with medication known to affect anesthetic requirements.
- •Weight of the patient exceeded 150% of the ideal weight.
- •The children who will need premedication after randomization will also be excluded.
