Overview

Brief Summary

Healthcare students are at high risk of stress and anxiety, particularly during clinical placements. We measured stress and anxiety for 109 physiotherapy students across 159 placements. They demonstrated highly variable levels of stress and anxiety. Higher levels negatively affected their academic performance. Baseline measures helped identify those at risk of high levels of stress and anxiety.
