- •1. Admission to the study setting (Ward 1, LRH) within 84 hours of the onset of fever
- •2. Clinical diagnosis of dengue infection (clinical criteria of the National Guidelines for Management of Dengue, Ministry of Health, Sri Lanka)
排除标准
- •1. Any underlying chronic disease (e.g. cardiac disease, renal disease, hepatic disease and muscular disorders)
- •2. Children on any long term medication
