All patients underwent a thorough history, physical examination, and radiographic imaging studies, including standard plain radiographs and ultrasound imaging scan by the treating orthopedic surgeon.
The exclusion criteria for the study were; (1) patients who diagnosed rotator cuff tear, calcific tendinitis or impingement syndrome by ultrasound imaging, (2) patients with cervical spine disease which could influence peripheral nervous system, (3) patients with previous fracture around shoulder or shoulder surgery, and (4) acute or chronic infection around shoulder.
