Catholic primary schools within the Hunter New England Local Health District and Mid North Coast Local Health District of NSW will be invited to participate. All grade 2 and 3 students at eligible schools will be invited to participate.
Schools will be ineligible if they; cater exclusively for children requiring specialist care; are already involved in a physical activity trial; and/or currently only have a sports uniform that children wear each day. All students in grades 2 and 3 are eligible to participate in the trial

Name Time Method Girl’s physical activity- mean minutes of MVPA per day will be measured objectively using wrist-worn accelerometers, by students in grade 2-3 at all schools for 5 consecutive school days. Data will be analysed for whole school day as well as segmented.
