Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •All patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus, for more than 5 years duration, who visit KMC, Manipal during the study period, after obtaining informed consent
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\. Type 1 diabetes mellitus
- •2\. Known case of non\-diabetic kidney disease
- •3\. Patients with acute kidney injury \- as per Serum Creatinine value over the last 3 months
- •4\. Gestational Diabetes
- •5\. Patients with liver disease
- •6\. Known case of pancreatic malignancy
- •7\. Patients with acute infection
- •8\. Inflammatory conditions
- •9\. Hypoalbuminemia \- serum albumin less than 2\.5
- •10\. Known case of Hypothyroidism or hyperthyroidism
