Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • Patients with neurological symptoms due to cervical myelopathy or neuromuscular disease
  • \- Patients who have been diagnosed with cervical myelopathy or neuromuscular disease and have no improvement in symptoms despite active conservative treatment for more than 3 months
  • \- Patients undergoing surgery using allograft during anterior fusion
  • \- Adults between 20 and 80 years of age
  • \- Patients who are able to express their pain or dysfunction and consent to the preoperative study

Exclusion Criteria

  • \- Patients with a history of previous cervical spine surgery
  • \- Patients who need posterior surgery in addition to anterior surgery
  • \- Patients with other underlying diseases other than cervical myelopathy or neuromuscular disease that may cause upper extremity sensorine abnormalities and affect outcome evaluation.
  • ex) Tumor, Carpal tunnel syndrome, cubital tunnel syndrome, Parkinson’s disease, Amytrophic lateral sclerosis
  • \- Adolescents under the age of 20 or elderly patients over 80 years of age
  • \- Patients who are medically incapable of consenting or unable to communicate
  • \- Women who are pregnant, lactating, or planning to become pregnant during the study period
