Children aging 8-12 years.
- ASA physical status ¿ and ¿¿.
Exclusion Criteria
- inability or refusal to consent.
- obstructive sleep apnea syndrome.
- coagulation disturbances.
- systemic , endocrine or cardiovascular disease.
- allergy to the study drug.
- peritonsillar abscess.
- neurological or psychiatric disorders.
