Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • 1\. Both males and females, aged 18\-100
  • 2\. American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) 1 and 2
  • 3\. Patients undergoing femoral sciatic blocks for elective orthopaedic surgery

Exclusion Criteria

  • 1\. Children \<18 years old
  • 2\. Pregnant women
  • 3\. Patients with contraindications to spinal anaesthetic
  • 4\. Patients unable to give informed consent
