Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •\>Patients with an established diagnosis of knee OA according to standardized criteria (e.g., detailed medical history, physical examination, functional test, laboratory and imaging procedures, according to S2k guidelines Knee Arthrosis/Arthritis which were prepared by the German Society for Orthopedics and Orthopedic Surgery as the leading professional society)
- •\> Willingness to participate in the study
Exclusion Criteria
- •\>Age \< 70 years
- •\>Not willing/able to participate in the study
- •\>Expected life expectancy of less than 6 months
- •\>Previous orthopedic surgery in the three months prior to the recruitment
