Participants were considered for inclusion if they met the following criteria:
1) diagnosed with schizophrenia according to the Diagnostic And Statistical Manual Of Mental Disorders, 5th edition , 2) active delusions or hallucinations persisting for the past = 3 months assessed by a psychiatrist through clinical interview 3) a total score of The Insomnia Severity Index = 15, 4) aged between 18 and 65 years, and 5) had no change in psychotropic medication dosage over the past month.
Excluded patients were those who,
1) had been diagnosed with sleep apnea, alcohol or substance use disorder, organic syndrome, or intellectual disability, and 2) were currently participating in individual cognitive behavioral therapy.

- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method The primary outcome measures used in this study were the total scores of the Insomnia Severity Index and Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index.
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Psychotic Symptoms Rating Scale, Anxiety Sensitivity Index, and Beck Depression Inventory were used for to evaluate changes in psychotic symptoms, anxiety symptoms, and depressive symptoms, respectively.
