简要总结

This study investigates the efficacy of individualized homoeopathic treatment in women with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome PCOS using Murphy’s Homoeopathic Medical Repertory. It focuses on the role of emotional and psychological factors in the development and progression of PCOS and evaluates the adaptability and adequacy of Murphy’s repertory, particularly the mind chapter, in identifying the homoeopathic simillimum. Women diagnosed with PCOS will receive individualized constitutional remedies based on detailed case taking, repertorization, and emotional profiling. Outcomes will be assessed through symptomatic improvement, menstrual regularity, and ultrasonographic changes using Rotterdam criteria, with periodic follow ups and statistical analysis to compare pre and post treatment data. The study also aims to identify any gaps in Murphy’s repertory in addressing emotionally diverse PCOS cases and to determine the overall effectiveness of homoeopathic simillimum in PCOS management.

结局指标

主要结局

Change in ovarian morphology, assessed by ultrasonography, measured as change in number of follicles and ovarian volume from baseline to the end of the treatment period, following intervention of individualized homoeopathic similimum by utilising the mind chapter from Murphys repertory.

时间窗: Follow-up assessment will be conducted periodically throughout the study period. Patients will be seen every 15 days till menses are regularized. Then onwards every monthly follow-up for symptomatic analysis. USG done before treatment & then onwards every 6 months.

次要结局

  • The outcome of the study may help us to understand the utility and gaps in representation of rubrics and thus bridge the gap that exist in Murphy’s repertory(Will be assessed throughout the research study period.)
