Inclusion Criteria
•Patients > 18 years
•Patients scheduled for cardiac valve surgery for infective endocarditis (IE) or patients scheduled for similar surgery due to non-infectious indication in Amsterdam UMC, location AMC
•Dutch speaking
•Willing and able to sign consent for re-use of care data
Exclusion Criteria
•Patients who do not sign consent for re-use of care data
•Previous history of coagulation disorders
