Inclusion Criteria
Mothers and fathers with children aged 0-15 years who are currently enrolled in a psychiatric hospital
- regular contact to the child
- informed consent of the teenager and custodian, informed assent of the child
Exclusion Criteria
- No capacity for informed consent (e.g. patients under compulsory treatment)
- Aspects incompatible with psychotherapy: IQ<70, severe cognitive impairment, severe impairment in social competency (according to clinical judgement)

Name Time Method Parenting practices measured with a self-report questionnaire (Alabama Parenting Questionnaire, APQ, German Version, Reichle & Franiek, 2009) at T2 (16+/- 2 weeks post start of Intervention).
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Self-report questionnaire on parenting practices, attitudes towards parenting and expectations of child behavior at T1 (post intervention).<br>Parental stress, parental abuse potential, parental mentalization ability, child psychopathology, child well-being and description of parenting practices from the children (measured with self-report questionnaires at T2 16+/-2 weeks after start of intervention).
