1. relevant palliative care treatment setting
2. all patients within a 12 month evaluation period
3. sufficient general condition for quantitative evaluation of test battery (and additional interview)
4. informed consent for study participation (and interview recording)

Name Time Method Description of self-efficiacy beliefs and locus of control of patients receiving palliative care from questionnaires and their subjective perception of loss of control from the interviews; Development, test and evaluation of an intervention pro feeling of control
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Registering a statement concerning a feeling of loss of control, the patient will be included in an intevention (informed consent). The interventionw ill be analysed regarding feasibility and burden for the patient. A post conversation 2-4 days after the intervention, changes in emotions and cognition will be questioned.
