Inclusion Criteria
All Outpatient and Inpatient consultations during the study period from
the Department of Psychiatry, with a diagnosis of Schizophrenia as per
ICD 10 criteria with a minimum illness duration of two years at the time of
enrollment into the study. Patients who do not have severe illness ( CGI S score less than or equal to 4 and individual score on BPRS 24 scale on questions 9,10,11,12,15,21,23 and 24 less than 4). Patients who can give written informed consent for the study.
Exclusion Criteria
Patients having major medical comorbidities and other comorbid
psychiatric illnesses including substance abuse except nicotine.
