入排标准
入选标准
- •1) Patients requiring bilateral maxillary first premolar extraction.
- •2) Good oral hygiene.
- •3) Patients with no significant medical history or metabolic bone disease.
- •4) Patients with positive informed consent/ assent.
- •5) No previous reported or observed trauma to the maxillary incisors as assessed via history of trauma, clinical and radiographic examination.
- •6) No previous orthodontic treatment.
- •7) Completed root apexification of incisors as assessed with periapical radiographs.
排除标准
- •1) Patients with negative informed consent/ assent.
- •2) Patients on regular antibiotics, steroids or anti-inflammatory drugs.
- •3) Non-compliant patient with poor oral hygiene.
- •4) Syndromic patients or those with dento-skeletal deformation.
- •5) Signs of external apical root shortening observed at the preoperative radiographic examination
