Inclusion Criteria
Chronic generalized periodontitis patients of age group between 18 to 55 years, presenting with horizontal or vertical bone loss and
probing pocket depth greater than or equal to 5 mm either in maxillary or mandibular arch involving anterior or posterior
teeth
Exclusion Criteria
Patients with any
1. Uncontrolled systemic diseases.
2. Previous history of flap surgery
3. Under antibiotics in the past 6 months
4. Smokers
5. Pregnant and lactating mothers

Name Time Method Periodontal pocket depth reduction in millimeters using UNC No.15 probe <br/ ><br>with the baseline at 3 months.Timepoint: At 7th day and 3rd month after surgery

To compare the postoperative pain using number of analgesics taken from the 1st day to <br/ ><br>7th day after surgery. <br/ ><br>c. To compare the wound healing on the 7th day and 3 months after surgery using Landry, <br/ ><br>Turnbull and Howley IndexTimepoint: 1st day, 7th day and 3 months after surgery
