Consecutive adult ischaemic and intra-cerebral haemorrhagic stroke patients admitted to a Dutch ICU assembled to the National Intensive Care Evaluation (NICE) registry
* linkage discrepancy between the NICE registry and the Vektis national insurance claim database (impossibility to obtain date of death after ICU admission)
* invalid APACHE III scores
