入选标准
- •Female patients of age 18 and above who are willing to participate in the study will be categorized into two groups (following a detailed clinical evaluation):
- •1.CONTROLS-The group of normal scalp hair women (controls) which comprises of age matched healthy women.
- •2.CASES-Women who are clinically diagnosed with Female Pattern Hair Loss
排除标准
- •Female patients with:
- •1.Alopecia areata
- •2.Telogen effluvium
- •3.Medical conditions such as nutritional deficiencies, endocrine disorders, auto-immune diseases, chronic liver disease, etc.
- •4.Hair loss as a result of surgery, trauma, or radiotherapy
- •5.Scalp disorders-psoriasis, seborrhoeic dermatitis, and tinea capitis.
- •6.H/o acute hair loss within 6 months
- •7.H/o usage of drugs that affect hair growth such as corticosteroids, anticonvulsants, chemotherapeutic agents, antidepressants, etc.
- •8.H/o hair restoration surgery
- •9.Patients of age below 18 years.
- •10.Patients unwilling to participate in the study
