- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method
The main study endpoints will be:

(i) The visualization of vascular involvement in the pathogenesis of psoriasis

with the TOPCam, preferably by showing the appearance of

newly formed psoriatic plaques in the clinically

uninvolved skin, predicted by change in the microcirculation.

(ii) The detection of hot- and cold spots within a psoriatic lesion using the

TOPCam, correlating them to immunohistochemical findings of

inflammation and angiogenesis in both an untreated plaque

and a plaque treated with Dovobet.

(iii) The presence of inflammatory cells, like CD3 positive T-cells and

polymorphonuclear leukocytes (PMNs) in the tissues with an increased

microcirculation, obtained from patients with psoriasis.

- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method
The secondary study endpoints will be:

(i) The visualization of vascular and histological changes as an effect of

Dovobet ointment.

(ii) Applicability of the TOPCam in daily clinical practice.
