Inclusion Criteria

1.Cases suffering from MADD & diagnosed as per DSM-4.

2.Cases having HAM-A (18-30) and HAM-D (17-25).

3.Duration of symptom at least 1 month.

4.Literate patients who can read Bengali and/or English and/or Hindi.

5.Capability and willingness to give informed consent and to comply with the study procedures.

Exclusion Criteria

1.Mild cases of MADD [HAM-A (less than 18) and HAM-D (less than 17) ] .

2.Severe or very severe cases of MADD [ HAM-A (more than 30) and HAM-D (more than 25)]; with or without suicide attempt.

3.Patients must not have been taking antidepressants or anxiolytic drugs at the time of inclusion.

4.Patients with any other psychiatric diseases other than MADD.

5.Homeopathic treatment for any chronic diseases eight weeks prior to enrollment in the drug.

6.Cases suffering from uncontrolled systemic illness or life-threatening infections.

7.Self-reported immune-compromised state.

8.Alcohol or other substance abuse.

9.Pregnant women and lactating mothers.
