- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method To compare the efficacy of low dose dexmedetomidine infusion with that of low dose esmolol infusion on the intraoperative hemodynamic profile, blood loss during surgery and emergence from anesthesia.Timepoint: Maintaining Mean arterial pressure of 65-70mmHg throughout the surgery and measuring once every 5 minutes for the initial 20 minutes and once every 10 minutes thereafter
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method To evaluate the effect of these infusions on intraoperative anesthetic and analgesic requirements.Timepoint: Concentration of sevoflurane in % recorded once every 5 minutes for initial 20 minutes and once every 10 minutes thereafter
