简要总结
Due to increase in Meda and Maansa Dhatu, the buttocks, tummy and breast areas become so thick and hang down that they keep shaking while walking. Organs do not grow properly and they do not have proper enthusiasm to work; such people are called extremely obese. In this modern era of science and technology, man has become more and more physically inactive along with these dietary habits has changed towards unhealthy food like fast foods, cold drinks, liquors, smoking etc. and hence now a days the code and conduct narrated in the ancient texts of Ayurveda have been ignored. By exposing on self to all these factors human beings unknowingly invited number of diseases, out of which obesity is one which disturbs physical, mental as well as social health of individual. Sthaulya is abnormal and excess accumulation of Meda Dhatu. In contemporary medical science it is compared with obesity and it is defined as excess body and visceral fat that poses health risk.

- •Individuals between the age group of 20 to 60 years of either sex of obesity for minimum one month duration.
- •diagnosed and confirmed cases of sthaulya on the basis of clinical examination.
- •patients with BMI IN between 25 to
- •patients willing to sign the consent form.
排除标准
- •Patients below 20 years and above 60 years -Patients suffering from diseases like nephrotic syndrome, hypothyroidism, jaundice, hepatitis, chronic infections & other diseases.
- •Patients having B.M.I. below 25 -Patients having obesity due to secondary reason such as drug induced or hormonal imbalance.
- •Patients not willing to sign the consen.
