Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •Group A ââ?¬â??Diabetic patients
- •1\. Type 2 diabetic patients with random blood sugar ââ?°Â¥ 200mg/dl
- •2\. A minimum of 20 teeth should be present.
- •3\. Patients with the age group of 35\- 44 years
- •4\. Patients who gave informed consent.
- •5\. Patients with probing depth of ââ?°Â¤ 4mm and attachment loss of 1\-2mm with horizontal bone loss till coronal third (2017 world workshop)
- •Group B\- Non diabetic patients
- •1\. Non diabetic patients with random blood sugar \< 140mg/dl
- •2\. A minimum of 20 teeth should be present.
- •3\. Patients with the age group of 35\- 44 years
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\.Patients with a history of any systemic conditions except diabetes.
- •2 Patients who were not able/difficult to communicate with the investigator.
- •3 Patients with tooth loss due to periodontitis.(world workshop 2017\)
