Inclusion Criteria
Elective open or endovascular surgery for abdominal aortic aneurysm
-Provision of written informed consent prior to performance of study-specific procedures or assessments and willingness to comply with treatment and follow-up
-Age =18 years
Exclusion Criteria
-Any serious and/or unstable pre-existing medical, psychiatric, or other condition that could interfere with the patient’s safety, provision of informed consent, or compliance with study procedures

Name Time Method Proportion of patients diagnosed endoscopically with subclinical and clinically relevant mesenteric ischemia among all patients undergoing aortic surgery.

Name Time Method -Proportion of patients proceeding to surgery for mesenteric ischemia after aortic surgery.<br>-Rate of stoma formation for mesenteric ischemia.<br>-Perioperative in-hospital morbidity and mortality, measured according to the Clavien-Dindo-Classification of surgical complications.<br>-Length of hospital stay<br>-Frequency of re-operation<br>
