Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •Patients having bothersome LUTS with IPSS > 15 after medical treatment or patients who are not willing for medical management.
- •Qmax on uroflowmetry less than or equal to 8ml/sec.
- •PSA < 4 ng/ml
- •Prostatic urethra length < 2.5cms
- •Size of prostate gland on transabdominal USG less than 25cc
- •DRE findings of Benign Gland
Exclusion Criteria
- •Presence of Median lobe on cystoscopy
- •Age less than 50 years or older than 80 years
- •Patients with a PVR > 300 ml
- •Patients who cannot void > 150 ml
- •Patients with a suspicion of neurologic bladder dysfunction ( like Parkinson disease, history of spinal cord injury, multiple sclerosis , uncontrolled DM , history of cerebrovascular events , etc )
- •Previous history of urethral or prostatic surgery
- •Previous history of radical pelvic surgery
- •Patient not willing
