Indication for apical prolapse correction. Patient actively wishes operative correction. Decision for UPS method after thorough and neutral patient information about all guide-line referenced surgical options as well as novel alternatives (pectopexy, UPS) by experienced pelvic floor surgeon.
Insufficient command of German language prohibiting filling out of the questionnaires. Significant physical or psychological disease. Not able to give informed consent. Contraindications for planned surgical procedure. Patient wish for a procedure referenced by current guidelines. Denial of procedures not covered by current guidelines.
