Inclusion Criteria
1. Age above 18
2. Chronic subdural haematoma diagnosed on CT Scan requiring
surgical management as determined by the neurosurgeon.
Exclusion Criteria
1. Patients who are already on corticosteroids for other reasons
2. Patients with contraindications for corticosteroid use
3. Patient refusal
4. Patients who require early (within 6 weeks) re-commencement of antiplatelet or anti-coagulant therapy as determined by the physician
