Inclusion Criteria
All participants are healthy (particularly free from pain and psychiatric disorders). Most of them are students of Hannover Medical School. They are older than 18 years old and planning to fast the whole month of Ramadan. All participants should understand English or German language. Participants were excluded if they break the fast for more than 7 days. All participants participate in this study after signing informed consent.

- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Fatigue (measured by fatigue severity scale).<br>It is a self-reported questionnaire, therefore all participants do it by themselves. <br>The measurement is done in the morning (08:00-10:00), afternoon (13:00-15:00) and evening (19:00-20:00) time of: <br>- one week before Ramadan (T1)<br>- mid of Ramadan (T2)<br>- last days of Ramadan (T3)<br>- one week after Ramadan (T4)<br>- one month after Ramadan (T5)<br><br>In the morning of T1 to T5, it was done at study center (Department of Rehabilitation Medicine, Hannover Medical School). For the afternoon and evening time, it was done at participants' place (e.g. university, home).
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method • Body composition (InBody 230; Model MW160, Korea)<br>• Pain intensity will be measured with Visual Analogue Scale<br>• Health related Quality of life will be measured by the generic SF-12<br>• Depression score will be measured with: Beck’s Depression Inventory (BDI) II and Hospital and Anxiety Depression Scale (HADS-D)<br>• Fatigue (Visual Analogue Scale)<br>• Sleep problem Scale Scores (Epworth Sleepiness Scale)<br>• Cortisol level will be measured by ELISA method<br>• Serum samples will be prepared that are collected from peripheral blood and stored at Biobank until analysis
