Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •ASA physical status I and II undergoing elective surgical procedure under general anaesthesia

Exclusion Criteria

  • •1 History of asthma/ COPD,
  • •2 Upper respiratory tract infection in the previous 2 weeks,
  • •3 History of smoking,
  • •4 History of bronchodilator or steroid therapy,
  • •5 Patient on angiotensin\-converting enzyme inhibitors
  • •6 History of drugs/opioid abuse
  • •7 History of hypersensitivity to study drug
  • •8 Patients with lung or head and neck malignancies
  • •9\.Anticipated difficult airway
