Inclusion Criteria

  • •Candidate for esophagectomy surgery
  • •The duration of the surgery is between three and five hours
  • •Same anesthesia method for all patients

Exclusion Criteria

  • •Body mass index greater than 30
  • •ASA class above III
  • •Heart rate less than 50 beats per minute
  • •Allergy to dexmedetomidine
